Welcoming Back Chad | Director of Educator Relations

Dear Bushido Community,

 We are excited to announce Chad Schaeffer’s return as our Director of Educator Relations! Chad’s journey with us began nearly 20 years ago at the age of 16, starting as a faculty assistant and quickly taking on responsibilities in stocking, website administration, and client relations. His passion for martial arts and dedication to our mission set the foundation for a remarkable career, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back.

 After leaving in 2015, Chad built an impressive career in the nonprofit sector, serving most recently as the Senior Director of Community Engagement and Communications at a local nonprofit. There, he organized impactful summits for educators and policymakers on countering hate and led marketing efforts that raised over a million dollars in humanitarian aid for victims of terrorism. His experience bringing people together and driving positive change is a tremendous asset as he rejoins our team.

Chad is committed to fostering a strong sense of community and respect among educators. He believes every educator has a unique story and is eager to listen and provide support wherever needed. His focus is on making every interaction meaningful and productive.
